Travel and Terrain Advice

The snowpack is in its "spring cycle". Today's weak sunshine means that the snowpack will not be as loose as it was yesterday, but the overall high temperatures are still in effect. Please be vigilant for slopes with glide cracks and leftover snow blocks. Weather conditions are on the way to worsen as a low pressure system approaches. If rain begins to fall, raise the alert for glide avalanches even higher. Snow bridges are fragile and gully cracks are developing. Conditions are more diverse and hazardous at lower elevations than at higher elevations.
