Travel and Terrain Advice

This is a condition where unstable snow remains in certain places. At elevations from the upper part of the below treeline, be wary of windslabs formed by yesterday's strong winds. In the case of very strong winds, the wind licks the terrain, so it is often possible to form a slab at a slightly lower elevation than just below a ridge. When this topographic locality is combined with a convex slope or isolated terrain without support, avalanches can easily occur. Start your day from a small slope while lowering the slope and checking the overall situation. The snow is cold, and you can enjoy dry powder. Have a nice day
