Travel and Terrain Advice
At higher elevations, watch for slabs from the most recent snowfall. At lower elevations, the snow is not yet sufficient to make travel difficult.
Avalanche Problem

Limited observations have been made during the most recent snowfall however up to 40cm of new snow has been recorded across the region. Moderate to strong Westerly winds will have transported this snowfall onto lee slope across the East where slabs may have formed in protected areas. A cautious approach should be adopted in the coming days as we seek to gather further information on current conditions.

No activity has been observed or reported across the region.
Snowpack
Limited observations have been taken so far this season. Reduced snow accumulation has resulted in difficult terrain travel. It is expected pockets of slab can be found in protected areas at higher elevations. Further observation are required in the coming days as we assess conditions across the region.
Weather
Continued snow showers are expected in the coming days with moderate Westerly winds. Expect cold temperatures and an increase in wind speeds later in the week.
