すべての標高帯において旧雪と新雪の境界面の不安定性に留意。特に森林限界 以上で西寄りの風の影響を受けた雪が堆積した場所に注意したい。また孤立し たサポートのない地形にも注意。On all steep slopes, be wary of the weak interface between old snow and new snow. Particularly above treeline, take care in areas where winds from the west have accumulated deeper unstable snow. Be careful of slab avalanches in isolated areas of unsupported terrain.
